Mooncake fest....

Mooncake festival had over, how many mooncake that you had try this year..

Wanna share with you all some mooncake that my family & i try...

Pandan lotus + Salted Mung Bean + Single Yolk

It suppose to have a clear layer of yellowish Mung bean surrounding the yolk,

unfortunately it didn't but it taste still ok la... hehe

This is a new mooncake from Baker's Cottage (麦可思) named Low Sugar Taro Yuzu.
The rabbit on it is really cute.

It make from manty many ingrediance, I just list a few of them which are:
Lotus seeds, Yam powder for the outter skin, Yuzu paste, Orange peel etc....
A special & new style mooncake.

Another mooncake from Baker's Cottage - Chestnut XO Jing Sa

Myself don't really like this one...
Feel that it is too salty for a mooncake that suppose to be sweet....

Looking for western foods restaurant in Ipoh??

There is 1 stall located in Ipoh Garden South which in business for many years.

The cook are busy preparing yummy foods for their customer. It smell good...

Not very much choice but it have fish, chicken, beef, mutton & pork.

Chicken Marryland

RM 10.50

We order 2 set for 3 person to share. This is their Chicken Marryland.

It serve together with bread, ham, sausage, french fries, onion rings

& the crispy chicken chop with their own make Brown Sauce.

The brown sauce suit me & i think it make from baked bean & onion.

Pork Chop with Brown Sauce

RM 8.00

Second dish that we ordered - Pork Chop with Brown Sauce.

The size of the chop is big which cover half of the plate.

The onion rings were good.

The chop serve with a lot of brown sauce but at the end we had finished it.

Really yummy....

3 of us was full & satisfy with our dinner there....

This will be a place that I wish to visit again some days in the future...

怡保兵如港 - 大树脚

My favarite food in Ipoh. Is a place that I wouldn't miss everytime i go to Ipoh.

Love it so much....let's share with u all...

This "food court" located under a few big tree, so ppl calling it 大树脚 (big tree foots).

Many choice available as u can see from the signboard.

Close look at the signboard. It had operate for more than 40 years

Always full with ppl no matter what time we are there.....

Out of many many stall here, this is the stall that attract ppl come from everywhere.

The price list.....

Many 炸料 (Yong Tao Fu) available....

You have to be fast to aim & grab wat you want... ppl are "hunting" it like FOC...

It is fresh & hot cause they fried the 炸料 instantly.

This is my favarite - 炸沙葛 (Fried sengkuang) the one that beside the spoon.

We order 3pcs there & take away few more.. hehehe

I do like their Laksa also. It's not same with the Penang style.

Laksa lover, plz go & try it out... u will like it same as me.

I'm in Ipoh now... will go there this weekend...

Movie Wednesday @ TGV

Wednesday, movie day again..

went for movie wif the discount price at TGV AEON Seberang Prai with my bf.

As usual, start search movie from website & attracted by this poster - Piranha 3D.

Watched the movie trailer, feel that it's ok. So just proceed to book ticket....

The story is simple with many scene of the piranha eat human being...

It's start with an earthquake which release the ancient piranha into a lake tat full with students & tourist for their summer break.

I don't like this movie that much...

There are too many bloody scene that can make ppl feel uncomfortable.

This is not suitable for pregnant mummy, children or those that will weak heart...

Feel that human are so weak & helpless when facing the fish...

The whole movie take only around 1hr 15 min only.... Feel not worth lo...
