Last sunday, my family & I had lunch @ Gurney Plaza.....

After we walked around & decided to take our lunch at Chicago Rib House..

The environament is quite nice.....But that one bad thing there....

It's hot inside..... Maybe their air-cond hav problem... so we feel hot when we start eating....

Me, my younger sis, my mom & my elder sis..

This is their house of salad.. I think.. I can't remember the name cause it order by my sister...

The vegetables were fresh with a lot of lovely crunch...

Hong Kong & Macau Trip - Part 1

Depart from Penang to Macau....

It was a day that all my bf & I waited for long time after book the ticket around 1 year ago. Finally, the day had came & we were going to depart to Macau for our vacation.

Yahooo...... Macau, I'm coming.....

If u notice, our boarding time was 5.50am....

We had reach Penang airport around 4.30am...

We were so excited & this was my 1st international trip...

Checked in & waiting for boarding after immigation...

Take some rest 1st...

The flight was not full, 2 of us shared 3 seat therefore it was more confortable.

Having our b/fast over 10,000 feets from sea level....

We prebooked 2 set of meals.

The 1st one - Asian Fried Rice with Chicken Satay

The satay are so skiny.... hehehe

2nd set - Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak.
This set look much better than the fried rice... Look delicious hor...

Landed in Macau airport around 10am....

We were so lucky that there were fireworks competition on the same night after we arrived Macau.

Short Sweet Story

Here is a short story with a beautiful message

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.

The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,

"Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river.

" The little girl said, " No, Dad. You hold my hand."

"What is the diference?" Asked the puzzled father.

"There's a big difference," replied the little girl.

" If I hold your hand and something happen to me, chances are that I may left your hand go.

The dinner cant without greatest prize....for lucky draw

The First prize is RM 6,000 Sijil Simpanan Premium...$$$

Second & Third prize is Motor....

At last, I din get any lucky draw for the prize....

Nvm, next year will come back to get it...hahaha

Moon cake..... Part 2

Mooncake Fest.....

This round introduce 2 type og Da Tong (大同) mooncake that we took.

This one known as Sesame White Lotus with Single Yolk.

A top view after cut it into few pcs.

The name is simple but it look good & delicious.

Another close shot which can see the beauty of it.....

They used black sesame which is good for health..

The 2nd one - Assorted Fruits Nuts with Chicken Bits (金凤凰).

This is an tradisional mooncake that with lots of nuts in it as shown.

I dun like this.... hehehe

But many auntie & uncle like it a lot....

Wanna share with you all some mooncake that my family & i try...

Pandan lotus + Salted Mung Bean + Single Yolk

It suppose to have a clear layer of yellowish Mung bean surrounding the yolk,

unfortunately it didn't but it taste still ok la... hehe

This is a new mooncake from Baker's Cottage (麦可思) named Low Sugar Taro Yuzu.
The rabbit on it is really cute.

It make from manty many ingrediance, I just list a few of them which are:
Lotus seeds, Yam powder for the outter skin, Yuzu paste, Orange peel etc....
A special & new style mooncake.

Another mooncake from Baker's Cottage - Chestnut XO Jing Sa

Myself don't really like this one...
Feel that it is too salty for a mooncake that suppose to be sweet....
